July 21st Group 1 repsonded for a toaster on fire. Upon arrival found a toaster on fire with extesion. Also Group 2 worked a Medical 500 in box 347.
June - Group 1Responds for the Automatic alarm in a residence on North Avenue. Units arrive to find a working basement fire. Fire was quickly controlled once sufficient personnel were called.

May 25th, 2009 Group 3 Responded for a Drier Fire. Upon arrival E 275 found smoke inside with a a drier fire in the basement with extension to the structure. 275 reported a working fire However manpower was not available to make an attack so they retreated to await for 2 in 2 out before making an attack. April 14, 2009 Group 2 Responded to a person trapped under a lawn roller on Banebury Drive. Units arrived to find a male who pinned under a 3,000 lb lawn rolling machine. Barnard responded for RSI, Brockport responded to assist with a winch and Hilton provided manpower. It took 42 minutes to extricate the victim. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries but is expected to recover fully. Read More
April 4, 2009- Group 4 Squad 2797 and E-273 responded for the shooting. FD staged in the area till cleared in by GPD. FD arrived to find a man down in the street. Unfortunately the person died at the scene.
March 28, 2009 – Group 2 E-277 responded for the small leaf fire in the area of Peck Rd and N. Greece Rd.
March 26, 2009- Group 1 responded for the explosion herd in the area of the 3900 block of White Swan Drive. Squad 2797 arrived on scene to find a trash fire on the side walk of a town house. Upon further investigation FF’s found 2 windows blown out of the upstairs bedroom and minor structural damage to the house 1st and 2nd floors. Investigation was turned over to GPD.
March 27, 2009 - Group 3 Q-270 w/2C-137 responded for the MVA in the area of Parma Center Rd & Mantiou Rd. 2C-157 was onscene with a person trapped. Hilton Rescue 268 extricated PT within 10 minutes. The "precationary 500" patient was transported by GVA with 2 FF's aboard.
March 26, 2009- Group 3 E-274 responded for the pedestrian struck at Dewey and Rumson. FD arrived to find a man down and unconscious. Male had severe traumatic injuries. PT was transported to Hospital with 1 FF aboard.
March 19, 2009 –Group 3 E-274 responded with the LSFD & BFD for the odor of electrical burning at the Lakeshore Hockey Arena. Upon further Investigation E-274 crew found a fire in the wall. Fire was extinguished and incident turned over to the Fire Marshal.

January Group 3 Responded for the vehicle flipped on English at Pearson. Photo
January 8th Group 2 Responded to Mill Rd for a dog through the ice. Firefighters were able to remove the dog from the water within a few minutes.
December 30th Group 3 Responded to Stowell Drive for the Oxygen tank truck leaking. Command Declared a Level Zero Haz-mat.
December 25th Group 2 Sent the Engine and Squad with the D/O to Spencerport for a trailer fire with a female trapped. Spencerport Command declared a working fire. Trailer was a total loss one firefighter suffered minor injuries.
December 15th Group 2 Responded to 85 Elmgrove Rd for the Vehicle into the pole.
