INCIDENT NEWS
June 17th - Group 2 responded EMS for trouble breathing on English Rd. Squad 2797 reported a medical 500 and began CPR. Quint 270 responded with ILS and Firefighters provided quick defibrillation. Firefighters assisted GVA to the hospital and the patient is alive and doing well.
May 14th - Group 3 responded mutual assistance to Barnard for the structure fire on Britton Rd.
May 2nd - Group 4 responded mutual assistance to Barnard for the structure fire on Castleford Rd.
April 27th - Group 2 responded for the house filling with smoke on Burlwood Drive. 2C-57 reported a dryer fire.
April 22nd - Group 2 Firefighters responded for the one car MVA on Frisbee Hill Rd. Upon arrival, 273 reported that the driver was trapped in the vehicle. The patient was extricated and transported by GVA.
April 21st - Group 2 responded mutual assistance with Lakeshore for the light fixture on fire on the side of the house. The fire was extinguished with minor damage.
April 20th - While cleaning up from the dryer fire on Mayon Drive, Group 2 received a call for a structure fire at the Salvation Army Thrift Store at 3790 W. Ridge Rd. 2C-57 reported a working fire in a single story commercial. Ridge Road and Hilton provided assistance at the scene.
April 20th - Group 2 responded for the report of a structure fire at 39 Mayon Drive. Upon arrival, 2C-37 reported a dryer fire with extension. Fire was under control in under an hour.
April 15th - Group 4 responded for the MVA with a vehicle overturned. Upon arrival, 2C-57 reported 1 vehicle overturned, into a telephonepole, all occupants were out of the vehicle. One person was transported for a possible broken leg.
April 13th - Group 2 and Group 3 responded to assist the Lakeshore Fire District with a large brush fire. Several mutual aid departments were called to assist. Firefighters were onscene for nearly 10 hours.
March 13th - Group 1 responded for the male who had fallen into a trench on a construction site off of Long Pond Rd. Firefighters found a male in a trench with water up to his shoulders. Firefighters removed the patient from the trench and turned over patient care to Greece Ambulance.
March 4th - Group 1 responded for the report of a Structure Fire at 816 Janes Rd. Engine 274 arrived onscene with a working fire in a single story group home.
March 4th - Group 3 responded for the report of a Chimney Fire at 146 Burritt Rd. 2C-57 went on location with a working fire in a 2-1/2.
March 1st - Group 4 responded for the Motor Vehicle Accident with a fluid spill on Latta Rd. at Rte. 390. Engine 274 went on location with a person trapped and requested the remainder of the assignment.
February 26th - Group 1 responded "immediate response" with Rescue 278 to the 2-2-2 second alarm fire at 156 Rye Rd. in the Ridge Road Fire District.
